Komicx Products has its own West Coast Rock Lobster permit. Komicx has formed a joint venture called Zanemali Fishing (Pty) Ltd with 4 other rights holders, in this fishing sector.

All the WCRLobster , ( of which there is about 36 ton ) , is caught on the jointly owned  MFV Zanemali , of which each partner in the joint venture directly owns a share of the vessel , proportionate  to his lobster tonnage .

Once the WCRL is caught, the fish is then sent to the fish processing establishment, Sentinal Seafoods where the WCRL is purged and packed, ready to be exported live.

The fish is also jointly marketed.
